Battle of the Haute Couture
Just in case, by some kind of magic, you may have missed it - Kim Kardashian and the beautiful Poppy Delevigne both became 'Wifeys' this month and kicked off 2014's wedding season in true celebrtiy glitz and glam style.
With one taking over Paris and the other celebrating her wedding not once but twice we have been truly spoilt for choice on the celeb-Bride-stalking scene. From Haute Couture Chanel to Bespoke Givenchy we have loved the hype surrounding these beautiful dresses.
Kim stunned in a demure and elegant form fitting Givenchy gown paired with a beautiful lace-edged Cathederal Veil. The silhouette from behind is perfect for her hourglass figure and will surely set off a trend for sculpted low backs for 2015 Brides everywhere. We're yet to get a sneak peak but hear Riccardo Tisci also designed their daughter, North, a matching mini-me couture Givenchy gown for the big day too.
Poppy's Haute Couture Chanel gown, designed by Kark Lagerfeld, stayed true to her free-spirited personal style whilst maintaining the formality of such a wedding. Paired perfectly with beautiful hair and make-up, Poppy looked the ultimate Boho-Bride. And the gasps from Wedding Guests just kept on coming as Poppy's bespoke wedding gown became the perfect cocktail dress as the lower skirt was detached for the evening reception. With their second round of celebrations taking place in Marrakech, what do you think of her Emilio Pucci floral Wedding Dress?
With these two weddings hitting the press this week we predict a new wave of Bridal trends for 2014/2015 starting with a huge surge in Brides wanting multi-purpose wedding gowns that transcend from day to night. But the big question is- are you a Kim or a Poppy kind of Bride?
